189 Independent Skilled Migrant Visa
The waiting time for the hearing of 50% of the applications was 53 days and 90% of the applications were heard in 3 months.
Recently, 189 processing has been accelerating significantly, with recent 189 downgrades focusing on September 2024 invited applications.

190 visa
The waiting time for the hearing of 50% of the applications was 17 months and 90% of the applications were heard in 18 months.
Currently, 190 non-vacant occupations are still processing applications through May 2023 Shortage occupations continue to be processed more quickly.

491 visa
The waiting time for the hearing of 50% of the applications was 17 months and 90% of the applications were heard in 23 months.
491 The current brigade is hearing applications up to about June 2023, and the processing is slowing down.

191 Visa
The waiting time for the hearing of 50% of the applications was 8 months and 90% of the applications were heard in 9 months.
The 491 to 191 application hearing is currently advancing to a March 2024 or so application.

Overall the employer-sponsored 186 visas are processed faster for preferred occupations.
186 Employer Sponsored Permanent Resident Visa (TRT): 50% of hearings are completed within 6 months and 90% within 16 months;
186 Employer Sponsored Permanent Resident Visa (Direct Entry): 50% of hearings are completed within 5 months and 90% within 16 months.


482 Work Visa (Short-Term): 50% of hearings are completed within 64 days, 90% within 4 months;
482 Work Visa (Medium-Term): 50% of hearings are completed within 61 days, 90% within 5 months;
482 Visa Nomination (Nomination): 50% of hearings are completed within 13 days Nomination: 50% of cases completed within 13 days, 90% of cases completed within 4 months.



Parent Immigrant Class Visa
143 Parent Immigration hearings have been trending upward recently, with 143 Parent Immigration now advancing to the end of December 2017, and turning to applicants filing in 2018.
The recent 143 hearing schedule:
June 17, 2024 advances to June 29, 2017 at 143;
August 1, 2024, advancing to the July 27, 2017 143 application;
September 9, 2024 advanced to the September 12, 2017 143 application;
November 5, 2024 advanced to the November 30, 2017 143 application;
Today, November 18, 2024, fast forward to December 14, 2017, 143. According to the official website of the Department of Immigration estimates, the current waiting time for newly submitted 143/864 visas is 14 years, and 103/804 visas are processed for 31 years. Student visa applications for the Higher Education category are processed within 29 days in 50% of cases and within 5 months in 90% of cases;
Student visa applications for primary and secondary education categories are processed within 36 days for 50% of the cases and within 4 months for 90% of the cases;


tourist visa
For tourist visa applications, 50% of the processing is completed within 10 days and 90% of the processing is completed within 33 days.

Child Class Visa
Out-of-state child 101 visas, which take 18-25 months to process;
In-state child 802 visas, which take 10-16 months to process.


870 Temporary Visa for Parents
Sponsored Parent Temporary 870 Visa Sponsorship with a processing length of 80 days-4 months;
Sponsored Parent Temporary 870 Visa Sponsorship with a processing length of 3-6 months.

155 Resident Return Visa
50% of hearings are completed within 1 day and 90% are completed within 10 days. Recently we have had multiple 155s issued with visas, and they have generally been issued very quickly.

Immigrant Investor 888 Visa
888A: Requires 70 days to 7 months of trial
888B: Requires 13-27 months of trial
888C: Requires 24-38 months of trial
